Laptop Repair

All laptop repairs to any machine, can only be fully assessed and tested in our workshops. To this end, we try to provide the following services.

  1. Email Service
    Write an email to using our Contact us Page, explaining the problem with your laptop as best you can. This is a free service. Many laptop problems are resolvable through simple maintenance steps.
  2. Diagnostic Service
    Send the laptop to us for diagnostics of the problem. We will check the laptop over thoroughly, and advise you of our findings. We charge a basic fee of £45 for a Diagnostics, which this amount is not exceeded, without customer approval to any final estimate. The laptop diagnostics Fee is absorbed into the labour of any final fee, once approved by the customer.
  3. Laptop Screen Replacement Service
    Send the laptop to us. The basic labour for panel changing is £25. Replacement panel costs additional to this labour charge. Note: Whilst we can readily obtain most replacement LCD panels, and can return machines "next day", some replacement panels can take time to track down. We need the Make and number of the LCD panel fitted to the machine, to confirm on time delay.
  4. Laptop Part Repairs Services
    Many laptop parts are not available as spare parts. A number of inverters fall into this range. Most of the time we can repair such items. We will need the whole laptop in order to effect such repair though. Generally it will fall withinn our laptop Diagnostic Service terms, as above.

We try for a maximum 5 day turnarround on all laptops. It is part availability dependent though.

We will keep you advised on what is happening, as we know the information.

All of our workmanship carries a 3 month RTB warranty.
